Year 6 2025 - 2026

Another great half term!

Over the past half term, the children completed their SATs assessments and I couldn’t be prouder. They have worked so hard all year and all did their absolute best - they know that is all that is expected of them.

Once the SATs were out of the way, we started our Science project. The children have been working in groups to create a TV show all about Light. They will be filming in the final half term.

We finished the half term with a Coronation themed event. The children looked brilliant in their red, white and blue attire, and between them created a great piece of art which is displayed outside the Year 6 classroom.In History, we learned about some of the key events from World War II. Some of the home learning completed was just amazing.

In our final half term together, we will be completing our Science project, creating some amazing pieces of art and will be studying Natural Resources. We are also looking forward to going to Castleshaw for our residential trip.
